Ernst and Fanny Herrmann-Allemann are coming from Canton Solothurn. They moved end of the fortys to East-Switzerland. After the end
of the 2nd Worldwar in 1946, the enterprising machine designer Ernst Herrmann, undertook his independent venture. In Walzenhausen,
he setted up a business for precision mechanics.
For first attempts with “plastic”, in 1951, he carried out experiments
in the kitchen oven of his wife. Ernst Herrmann knew that only with the right molds it will be possible to produce plastic parts in
a perfect quality. All this was a great challenge to a machine designer.
A swift and constant development characterized last decades. The business expanded its staff and its floor space.
